Bonnaroo 2009 Tickets

Bonnaroo tickets are now available for the 2009 Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, Tennessee. Bonnaroo 2009 will take place June 11 – 14 at Great Stage Park, where the festival has been held since its start in 2002. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band and Phish are two of the biggest acts that will perform at Bonnaroo this year, but fans who buy Bonnaroo tickets will also get to see acts including the Beastie Boys, Nine Inch Nails, Elvis Costello, Wilco, TV on the Radio, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and lots more. Facts about the Bonnaroo Music Festival

• There have been seven Bonnaroo festivals so far (this year’s will be the eighth).  They have all been held at the Manchester Farm in Manchester, TN.  
• The phrase “Bonnaroo” means “a really good time” in Cajun.  It was popularized by R&B musician, Dr. John, with his album “Desitively Bonnaroo.” 
• The grounds at Bonnaroo act as a 24-hour city.  Within this “city,” there are lots of vendors and commercial ventures, including craftsmen, restaurants, and even internet cafes and arcades. 
• Each year, there are several venues within Bonnaroo.  Some of the regular venues include the “What Stage,” which is the main stage of the festival, and the “Which Stage,” which is a smaller venue that features a lot of late night shows after the headliner.  There is also usually a Comedy Tent where comedy acts and stand-up comics perform.
