Trivia About Bruce Springsteen and Bruce Springsteen Concerts

  • Bruce Springsteen concerts have always sold a lot of tickets.  In fact, Bruce was able to fill Giants Stadium for ten nights in the early 2000s.  (For Bruce Springsteen tickets for his current tour, please check the listings above).
  • Also adding to Springsteen’s ticket selling records, his reunion with the E Street Band in 2000 had a ten night, sold out engagement at Madison Square Garden in New York.
  • Bruce Springsteen’s nickname, “The Boss,” came from the fact that during his days playing club gigs, he was in charge of collecting the band’s pay and distributing it amongst band members.  However, Springsteen has always disliked the name, because he feels that the word “boss” has a negative connotation.
