• Kelly Clarkson went through a rough patch in 2007 when she had to cancel a large-scale tour for her album, My December, due to poor ticket sales.  She ultimately embarked on a much smaller scale tour in smaller arenas to support the album.
• Before American Idol, Kelly Clarkson had done work as an extra on t.v. shows including Sabrina the Teenage Witch and That 80s Show.
• Kelly Clarkson has been awarded almost 65 awards.  She has received 2 Grammys, one for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and the other for Best Pop Vocal Album.
• In addition to touring with Reba McEntire, Kelly Clarkson has toured with Clay Aiken in the past (on The Independent Tour).
