Phish Tour 2009 – Phish Tickets

Phish Reunion Tickets

Phish Tickets

Are you a Phish phan?  If so, you’re probably excited to hear that Phish have announced tour dates for a 2009 reunion tour.   Fortunately, we have Phish tickets for these concerts! The Phish tour is set to begin June 4, in Wantagh, NY, three months after they do a few reunion shows in Hampton, VA.  As of this writing, Phish are scheduled to play shows mainly in the Eastern part of the U.S. – including shows in the following cities: Asheville, NC, Mansfield, MA, St Louis, MO, Camden, NJ and other cities as well. This tour will be the first time that all the members of Phish will play at major venues together since the band did their Vermont farewell shows in 2004.  Phish are known for their concerts, which tend to be artistic productions in and of themselves, often featuring stunning visual effects. So, if you want to see one of these amazing Phish concerts, you can purchase your Phish tickets through the Phish ticket listings below!

Facts (Phacts) about Phish and Phish Tickets

  • Amazingly, Phish rose to fame with little help from mainstream radio or media outlets.  Their following developed largely through word of mouth and Phish.net.
  • Phish concerts are artistic productions themselves.  In other words, no two Phish concerts are the same.  The band frequently changes set lists and adds their own antics into the show.  They also frequently engage in audience participation.  For example, they have done things such as having each band member toss a beach ball into the crowd and then play a note each time his ball is hit.  The effect of this is that it results in an original composition created by both the audience and the band.
  • Phish used to allow fans to purchase Phish tickets through “Phish Tickets by Mail,” a mail order service through Phish.com and the Phish newsletter.  Starting in 1995, the mail order Phish tickets even featured unique designs by Phish artist Jim Pollock.  In 2002, however, the mail system was abandoned for an internet-based ticketing system.
  • Phish concerts in the past have featured beautiful, multi-colored lighting arrangements.  These arrangements were put together by Chris Kuroda, whose philosophy is that the visual aspect of Phish concerts is just as important as the aural.
