Trivia about Yes Tickets and Yes Tours
- Guitarist Peter Banks came up with the name Yes, because he thought the three-letter word would stand out on posters.
- The members of Yes are known for their instrumental prowess. In the 1970s, after Bill Buford decided to leave the band to join King Crimson, he was replaced by drummer Alan White. White was able to learn an entire repertoire of songs in three days before the band embarked on their North American Yes tour.
- Yes has been a band that has consistently been able to gross high ticket sales for their tours. The 1991-92 Yes tour was one of the highest grossing concert tours for those years. See above for Yes tickets for the 2008-2009 Yes tour.
- The Yes 2008 world tour had to be postponed after frontman Jon Anderson was diagnosed with acute respiratory failure. The Yes tour will now use Benoit David as their frontman for the current Yes tour (see above to buy tickets for Yes). It is hoped that Jon Anderson will be able to tour next year.
