Lil’ Wayne’s real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. He is originally from New Orleans, LA.
Lil’ Wayne has been arrested several times. In 2007, he was arrested twice. The first time was for smoking marijuana near a Lil’ Wayne tour bus. The police also found a pistol on him and he was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a weapon. The second time he was arrested in 2007 was after he was accused of possessing a controlled substance. Additionally, Lil’ Wayne was arrested in 2008 when Border Patrol agents near Yuma, AZ found drugs including ecstasy, cocaine and marijuana on the Lil’ Wayne tour bus.
Lil’ Wayne has two children. The first is a daughter, whose mother is Lil’ Wayne’s high school sweetheart. The second child is a son, whose mother is still not known.
